I will be teaching an online Shadow Weave class starting in late August. For details go to http://weavolution.com and look in the classes section. Students attend via computer and are encouraged to conduct a weave study. The class will cover 4 - 8 shaft shadow weave, drafting and varying treadling plans to vary the design.
Classes at Woolbearers, Mount Holly NJ will resume May 15th, for 7 weeks. Basic weaving course - a comprehensive intro to basic weaving
1) basic drafting and understanding interlacements, terminology and loom parts
2) warp and weft calculations, yarn selection and preparing warp
3) preparing the warp
4) warping back to front
5) dressing the loom and starting to weave
6) sampling & weaving
7) finishing the item, hemstitching and review

HUCK LACE - an introduction
a 4 shaft huck lace project, 6 week class, 2.5 hours, design, calculations, warp preparation and weaving of 4 huck lace mats. Materials included.
3 small looms available or bring your own loom for a $25 dollar discount.
Fee - $ 210 dollars, includes refreshments.
Open weaving session on a loom $10 for 2 hours on a Friday afternoons
