Green Block Twill

Here is the actual weaving of the "pickle" scarf.  So far not too much of a problem with the supplementary ends hanging of the back of the loom.

I like to do my hemstitching on the loom so it is tighter and neater, plus it is easier to count thread groups.

The treadling at first appears quite complicated. As the twill is derived from 2 sets of blocks, block A is 1,2,3,4 (twill) and block B is 5,6,7,8,(twill). So I was easily able to revert to the initial plan using blocks to read my treadling sequence, as seen below.

Each box equals 2 repeats of that block.  All in all I am quite pleased with the results.  This pattern basis can be found in Twills Thrills by Interweave press.
